She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially in the comfort of her own home. She was always planning her next adventure and had a long list of places she wanted to visit. Lynn was a passionate traveler who loved to explore new places and experience different cultures. She is survived by her loving husband Robert, her children Mark (Ashley), Ian (Kelly), and her cherished grandchildren Clark, Pierce, Esmé, Olivia, and Jacob. She was loving and loyal to all who knew her. The people at the Centre meant the world to her many becoming just like family. She joined the Simcoe Seniors' Centre where she started as a member, and then began teaching line dancing and later became a Board member. After the death of her beloved Paul, Carol carved a new life doing things she loved. She was a dedicated employee who loved her clients, and her clients loved her right back. Carol worked at Millard Rouse and Rosebrugh for 35 years. Until the month of her death, Carol was still bowling and teaching line dancing. Carol competed at the highest levels during her baseball career and later went on to play ball recreationally until the age of 75. She played and coached basketball and volleyball. She was a skilled swimmer who competed in the Olympic trials. Carol was a competitive athlete her entire life. Carol has left behind a trail of broken hearts. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Bob Tunis, sisters-in-law Jenny Mitchell and Eleanor Myerscough. Carol will be loved and missed by many nieces and nephews. Grammy never missed a sporting event and will always and forever be their biggest fan! Carol is loved by her sister, sister Gloria Tunis, brothers Frank (Joy) Atkinson, Jim (Sandy) Atkinson, sister-in-law Barbara Campbell. Cherished Grandmother to Ryan and Jordan. Her loss will forever be felt by her daughter Lori (Kevin) Costigan. She is predeceased by her husband and the love of her life Paul Girling.
